Ask Oleg

I can trace all the good things that happened in my freelancing career to one useful habit…

…asking questions.

Even obvious ones. Or stupid ones. Or oddly specific ones.

Being curious, and going the extra mile to satisfy that curiosity, will not only help you learn faster — it will make you stand out like a sore thumb. Because guess how many people even feel curious any more, let alone act on their curiosity?

Too damn few, that’s how many.

I want to encourage you to be the exception. And in the words of Katniss Everdeen, the Girl on Fire, “I volunteer as Tribute!”

(Is this the first time I ever made a Hunger Games reference? I think it is… Whoa.)

Ask me anything. Well, to be more exact, ask me anything that meets these two criteria:

  1. It’s relevant to freelancing and/or being a copywriter — the two areas I’m reasonably competent in.
  2. It’s specific to your situation — don’t just ask me, “What’s a good hourly rate?” Tell me about yourself first.

Also, if you want to give (constructive and polite) feedback, that’s cool, too. Or compliment my hair — I wouldn’t mind that, either.

You can submit your questions using the form below, and I’ll get back to you within 2-3 days.
